Job Summary: A CT Technician operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce images of patients for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for CT examinations.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire images according to protocols.
• Reconstruct CT images for interpretation by radiologists.
• Maintain CT equipment and ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Assist radiologists during CT-guided procedures.
Qualifications:
• Associate's degree or certificate in Computed Tomography.
• Certification from a recognized professional body preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CT equipment and image acquisition techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
