Job Description & Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement process for bought-out components and materials used in the production of automated equipment.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors, and identify and qualify new vendors to secure the best pricing and lead times.Analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and optimize value for the company.Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and delivery dates.Monitor inventory levels of bought-out items and collaborate with internal stakeholders for timely replenishment to avoid production delays.Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new technologies related to bought-out components used in automation.Generate reports on procurement activities, cost savings achieved, vendor performance, and inventory levels.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bought-out procurement, ideally within the Automation Industry.Strong understanding of automation equipment and their component requirements.Proven experience in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
