Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Tender Executive with experience in managing tenders through the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end tendering process, from identifying relevant opportunities to submission and post-award activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of GEM procedures and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender Identification and Analysis:
- Monitor GEM portal and other relevant platforms to identify tender opportunities relevant to the company's business.
- Analyze tender documents, including scope of work, technical specifications, terms, and conditions, to determine feasibility and requirements.
2. Bid Preparation:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation for bid preparation.
- Prepare and compile bid documents, including technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements and deadlines.
3. GEM Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with GEM guidelines and procedures throughout the tendering process, including registration, documentation, and submission requirements.
- Liaise with GEM authorities and resolve any issues or queries related to tender submissions.
4. Vendor Management:
- Identify potential subcontractors, suppliers, and partners for collaboration on tender opportunities.
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and gather relevant documentation for bid submission.
5. Post-Award Activities:
- Assist in contract negotiations and finalization upon successful tender award.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth transition from tender award to project execution.
- Maintain records of tender submissions, outcomes, and post-award activities for future reference and analysis.
